DESCRIPTION:An eclectic and international repertoire\nThe L’oeil du Créateur gallery in Sommières invites you to discover an ambitious artistic project!\n🪇🎤🎧🪘🌯🥙🍷🍴🍹\nIt has been more than ten years since French pianist Cédric Chauveau and Austrian singer Valérie Sajdik met and formed an exceptional friendship and collaboration.\nWith their eclectic repertoire of French and German songs from the 1920s to the present day, from Kurt Weill to Piaf, they have perfected the art of the duo.\nOn Thursday 5 June 2025, they will be joined by two other musicians, Michel Altier on double bass and Samuel Devauchelle on drums.\nThey will present their latest album, Amitiés, which they recorded largely as a quartet 🥁🎹🎤🎻 (not far from here in Lecques).\n\nCollaboration without borders\nTheir new album is a manifesto for multicultural friendships, diversity, freedom and peace in a multicoloured world.\nEuropean at heart, Valérie Sajdik has a passion for Occitania and has divided her life between a small village in the Hérault and Vienna, the Austrian capital where she is from.\nCédric Chauveau plays with jazz musicians in Occitania who come from all over the world and is regularly accompanied by singers from Spain, Sweden, the United States…\nA jazzy and gourmet evening\nFull of vibrant jazz tinged with humour, recorded in Lecques, this album Amitiés is Occitan at heart.\nThe requested contribution to the association’s costs is 15 euros.\nA cocktail will be offered upon arrival. You will have the opportunity to eat and purchase the album in question.\nPlease note that we are a private organisation and that you must be a member in order to attend. Simply purchasing a drink entitles you to a membership card. If you already have one, don’t forget to bring it with you!\nThe concert is scheduled to start at 8.30pm, with doors opening at 7pm. It is best to reserve your meal in advance. For 10€, you will enjoy a full meal.\n
