The L’oeil du Cr\u00e9ateur<\/em> gallery in Sommi\u00e8res invites you to discover an ambitious artistic project! It has been more than ten years since French pianist C\u00e9dric Chauveau<\/strong> and Austrian singer Val\u00e9rie Sajdik<\/strong> met and formed an exceptional friendship and collaboration. On Thursday 5 June 2025, they will be joined by two other musicians, Michel Altier on double bass and Samuel Devauchelle on drums<\/strong>.<\/p>\n They will present their latest album<\/strong>, Amiti\u00e9s<\/strong><\/em>, which they recorded largely as a quartet \ud83e\udd41\ud83c\udfb9\ud83c\udfa4\ud83c\udfbb (not far from here in Lecques).<\/p>\n Their new album is a manifesto for multicultural friendships<\/strong>, diversity, freedom and peace in a multicoloured world. Full of vibrant jazz tinged with humour, recorded in Lecques, this album Amiti\u00e9s<\/strong><\/em> is Occitan at heart.<\/p>\n The requested contribution to the association’s costs is 15 euros<\/strong>. The concert is scheduled to start at 8.30pm, with doors opening at 7pm. It is best to reserve your meal in advance. \nEuropean at heart<\/strong>, Val\u00e9rie Sajdik has a passion for Occitania and has divided her life between a small village in the H\u00e9rault and Vienna, the Austrian capital where she is from.
\nC\u00e9dric Chauveau plays with jazz<\/strong> musicians in Occitania who come from all over the world and is regularly accompanied by singers from Spain, Sweden, the United States…<\/p>\nA jazzy and gourmet evening<\/h2>\n
